AppieJax81: give me one

CoPA, CoPA Cabaaaannnaaaa...

Yeah, in the CoPA with Double N and all I really want to do is SHOWER.  One class left to go for the day, and I'd rather not be stinky.  :-P

Plans for the day include Walmart ("Every year for Christmas, I take all thirteen of my grandkids to Walmart..."  Well, do they all go in one car, or do they drive their Power Wheels?") and some red shirt action with Amanda and a member of next year's staff (Daga o4-05, here we come!).  VERY upset about missing the Hawaiian party at TH 9, especially since they're "operating at 100%."  With Marcy being here, it's so different, yet so the same.

Going to see The Laramie Project tomorrow, and that should be a good time.  It's nice to have a weekend where the only unenjoyable thing I really have to do is write a humn paper.  And of course, a couple of "meetings" here and there--like the LAST GODA MEETING OF THE YEAR.  Hallelujah.  The time has come.

Mood of the minute:  sleepy :-O    <~~That's a yawn...get your mind out of the gutter.

How sweet it is to be loved by you...

Random song stuck in my head.  Lauren, how do you make those fun smilies in your blog?  I'm jealous!

Hmm...went to humn with the worst professor ever.  He isn't really even my professor, and he makes me want to keel over and die when he says "right?" about four bazillion times a minute, even when quoting Dante.  Luckily, Martha keeps me sane, and on the way back I ran into Leah, who let me complain the whole way, and Amanda, who gave me CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!

I came back and slept because I am having some "discomforts," and then attempted to sleep through Voice and Fluency (note to self:  get notes from Meghan).  That worked until #1--birds outside my window felt it was a good time to wake up all who were sleeping and #2--Martin called.  Sheesh.

Well, Double N is back which makes me super excitedto this power, and we're going to eat lunch together in a bit.  There's this strange stain outside someone's door on my floor, and it looks like water, but it hasn't dried yet.  I don't even know.

Off to lunch, then Spanish class (raise your hand if you didn't read!), then studying for humn until 5:30, then taking bottles back to Wegmans to save the rainforest, then dinner, then IRC, GODA, and more studying.  I can't wait until humn is overtimes 400

OH!  And don't forget to VOTE for goodness sakes.  If you don't know who to vote for, take my advice and vote for the people in my profile.  Go to knightweb.geneseo.edu, log in, ANSWER A SURVEY, and VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bible makes me...think...

Okay, so, I have been having this random religious problem for a couple months now, where I know that I don't agree with all aspects of the Catholic church, regardless of the fact that I am a baptized Catholic.  I also feel I am Christian because I do believe in God and Christ, and most of the new and old testament, but there's just something about it...ANYWAYS.  Studying the Bible really makes you...think.

So instead of studying the Bible, I was looking at some random "blogs" (because I have just that much free time...) and came across this very...Buddhist, organic, opinionated man.  By organic, I mean he eats only organic food, not that he himself was organic...ANYWAYS.  I was reading through, do de do de do, and I came to the Belief-o-Matic!  I got very excited.

I took the test, and these were my results:

Your Results:
The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.

Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.

1.  Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%)
2.  Liberal Quakers (91%)
3.  Unitarian Universalism (90%)
4.  Reform Judaism (79%)
5.  Neo-Pagan (71%)
6.  Orthodox Quaker (69%)
7.  New Age (66%)
8.  Mahayana Buddhism (63%)
9.  Sikhism (62%)
10.  Theravada Buddhism (62%)
11.  Secular Humanism (60%)
12.  Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (59%)
13.  Bahá'í Faith (57%)
14.  Hinduism (55%)
15.  Seventh Day Adventist (53%)
16.  New Thought (53%)
17.  Scientology (53%)
18.  Eastern Orthodox (52%)
19.  Roman Catholic (52%)
20.  Orthodox Judaism (49%)
21.  Jainism (45%)
22.  Taoism (43%)
23.  Islam (43%)
24.  Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (41%)
25.  Nontheist (37%)
26.  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (34%)
27.  Jehovah's Witness (21%)

So there we go!  I know that this isn't the be all-end all of that whole religion thing, and the Bible is going to continue to make me...think...but at least I got to put off another 20 minutes of studying...  :-)

Some have been waiting 100 years...

Yes, it's true.  I decided to take the advice of everyone and their band teacher and create a livejournal of sorts.  Will I have time to update it?  Ermmm...after I dig my planner out from underneath my dirty laundry...maybe...

This room is a mess, I have about a bazillion loads of laundry to do, and my homework is calling me.  No, that noise you hear is not the girl's rugby team, but my Bible screaming "Read me!  Read me!"  Blah.

Okay, becoming motivated right now.  I swear.  The more homework I do now, the more relaxing I can do ASAP...

...Now where did I put that review sheet...
