*write some thank you notes/letters *start my essay on Locke
*read erasmus *answer any/all humn study questions *fold my laundry *clean my room *clean any room ...but clearly it's almost 1am and I'm not in the mood to do any of those. I sent various e-mails, so I feel accomplished. Plus, I got to know one of the people going to England with me, and she seems really nice. Hi Stephanie! :o) Today I met the cutest boy. No, not the love of Susan's life, although I saw him today too. He was about three or four years old and he had Down syndrome. I talked to his mother for a while today about how he signs instead of talking. We chatted about my sign language knowledge for a bit (short conversation considering how little I know), and she gave me her number in case I'm interested in baby-sitting. It sucks that I won't really be around much to take advantage of the opportunity. It made me really excited though, which was good. It gives me hope that I really do want to go into this field. Summer is inching by, and I go back to school two months from two days ago. I'm guessing that with a whole month in England, the rest of it will fly by, and it's those last few days before returning for RA training (yay for 2-north!) will be the killers. My visit to Geneseo a few weeks ago reminds me of how much I enjoy the area and how beautiful it is there. Good luck to everyone on the great job search. I love and miss you all very much. On one last note, words of wisdom from Dan, the only person who reads this dumb journal thing: DJSym8 DJSym8 I'll try to update soon. Leave me pretty messages. :o) |
